Smart in Entrepreneur Part I

                An entrepreneur  lately become popular in Indonesia. It’s because many people hard to find a job in their city and they have creativity so they can develop their capability of something to be more value. Even, most of them who has success can open the jobs for many people so they can recruit the unemployement. The impact is the economy of Indonesia is always raise every year, because more new entrepreneur every year. To be the entrepreneur is not enough, but we have to be a successful entrepreneur.

                To be a successfull entrepreneur is not easy. Every people who start they own business have been fail in their business. I want to take an example for a successful entrepreneur from my college. He is Mr. M. Suyanto. He is the fouder of STMIK AMIKOM, the greatest university in Yogyakarta. He buid AMIKOM from nothing until now the University has many award in National and International.

                I want to quote from his book “Every One Can Be a Successful Entrepreneur” . In this book, he says the first thing to become a successful entrepreneur is Positive Mental Attitude. I want to quote his story from his book. “My experience using  positive mental attitude is when I build AMIKOM Yogyakarta. Before asking permission, we preparing proposal, start from manage the establishment of the foundation, making planning main developer, curriculum, and the lecturer. The main problem is we don’t have any facility and money. The rent building isn’t pay yet, the computer facility and the library is very limit. AMIKOM  is starting without cash money. We’re very lucky to be guided by Coordinator Kopertis Regional V and his staff. From know nothing until know ins and outs of the College. After that, we try to make proposal and then submit to Coordinator Kopertis Regional V”. That’s a little example for a Positive Mental Attitude from the book.

                The second is, we have to Created The Dream and Try To Catch Them. “After we try to have Positive Mental Attitude, to be an entrepreneur is created dream and try to catch them.  Dream is the reflection of moment or anything else that appear when you sleep that not the reality. Created dreams mean that created something is not real or imaginary, but that dream can created strong energy that cant people imagine”.

The third is Take a Step to Start Business. “To take a step to start business we have to try the failure, it’s better than fail to try. After dreaming in business, must be step to catch that dream step by step. This is the hardest part of being an entrepreneur , so the entrepreneur in Indonesia is only 1,2% of the population.  It can be says that from 100 people, only one or two people can take a step. The other hand have no balls to start it. Most of them can’t be an entrepreneur because imagine the failure first. Whereas the first step is the most important.  It’s  like the locomotive pull out the stop car/train. It take a super power so it can move, but when it has move the power needs to running is reduce. So with the business, the hardest part it is to start it, but when it start, its more easy”.
